LurePassion

Affiliate disclosure & policy

Disclosure: LurePassion participates in affiliate programs. Some links to lures and gear are affiliate links, and LurePassion may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through them — at no extra cost to you. This disclosure is provided per the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements.

How the links work

When a product mention links to a retailer we have an active affiliate relationship with, that link routes through a first-party redirect that tags the referral and forwards you to the retailer. You pay the same price you would otherwise. Product mentions for retailers we don't have an active program with are shown as plain text, not links — so a link is always a real, disclosed affiliate link, never a disguised one.

Editorial independence

Commissions never influence a recommendation. The lures you see on a lake or species page come from a rules engine — species × water temperature × clarity × season → lure archetype — where every rule carries a citation to a published guide or manufacturer reference. Only afterthe engine picks an archetype do we attach matching products. We don't recommend a bait because it pays more, and we don't reorder picks by commission.

Which programs

Affiliate relationships may include Amazon Associates and fishing-tackle retailer and brand programs. A retailer's links only become affiliate links once that program is active; until then its products are mentioned in plain text. The FTC disclosure appears on any page that actually contains an active affiliate link.

Prices & availability

Prices and stock shown on the site are snapshots from retailer feeds and can change or lag. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's own page before buying.
